It gives me great pleasure to announce the well-deserved and earned promotion of Melissa Mancini from Vice President of Operations to CUSA’s Chief Operating Officer. As CUSA continues its growth – having had its best year in its history in 2022 – we have added numerous new team members and it made perfect sense for Melissa to continue and expand her oversight of key operational areas of the company. Melissa has an extensive history in hospitality with over 33 years of hotel operations experience-31 of those years working for CUSA. She has risen through the ranks from internal systems to General Manager to Regional Director of Operations to Vice President Of Operations. Melissa’s background encompasses working with all brand and level of service hotels, from small boutique 4 &5 star properties, to large full service convention hotels, and extensive experience in select and limited service hotels nationally. Her oversight has resulted in many award winning CUSA Managed hotel projects-she brings extreme proficiency in hotel operations, human resources, sales & marketing, revenue management, owner relations. This is a well deserved promotion and a strategic move to help CUSA as we continue our growth plan. Melissa’s concentration will be operations, property sales, marketing and revenue management and financial oversight and enhancement. Please join all of us in congratulating Melissa in her new role.
